Chapter 9

While Alpha Emmaline’s faithful friends talked about her odd behavior and how best to get them to talk to her, the Alpha in question was in the cabin that had now become her favorite place on the pack with the man she had desperately wished for all those years ago.

Presently, she was seated across her mate, Caleb with a big smile on her face that portrayed how happy she was. They had been like that for close to an hour and a half deliberating on the story they would tell everyone when she finally introduced him to her friends and the pack.

Weirdly enough Caleb was of the opinion that they should stick to what really happened on the night they met but Emmaline thought that they story would be too fishy and people will ask questions that she wasn’t keen on answering.

“How about that we met in your pack when there was a meeting or mate-meet or something?” Emmaline asked, stating a different opinion from the last one for what had to be the fifth time.

Caleb shook his head unimpressed
