I woke to sunlight filtering through the still open curtains and I could feel the chill in the air. I had left my bedroom door open in case Sierra needed anything during the night. “Griffin?” Sierra’s voice woke me and I sat up straight in my bed.She was standing the doorway with the blanket wrapped tightly around her.
