(In the dungeon once again)

CLAUDIA

I got to my chamber and flung the door open. I stormed into the room and slammed the door shut. “A child?” I scoffed, walking to my bed. I crashed into the bed and buried my face in the bedspread. Remembering my father again, my throat began to tighten as I felt tears gather very fast in my eyes.

“Why did you have to go?” I mumbled, still keeping my head buried in my bed. “I want to get back home and find out you are alive, the same way I met Alpha Everett alive.” I heard a gentle knock on the door, and I raised my head. If it was Alpha Everett at the door, the knock would never be that gentle.

“Who is that?” I further inquired. “It’s me, Luna Claudia,” Nellie responded from outside the door, and I heaved a sigh. “I didn’t lock it.” I buried my head in the bed again, cleaning my tears with the bedspread. I heard Nellie open the door, walk in and close the door. “How are you, Luna Claudia?” She asked as I heard her approach the bed.
