I rolled onto my side and opened my eyes slightly. Annette's face was near to mine, her eyes closed. She was still sound asleep. We had yet another fantastic sex.

I knew how to settle her down when she was in a rage, so I went straight to work.

I exhaled deeply and sat up. I lowered my head and moved to the edge of the bed. The full moon was approaching quickly.

I checked the clock on her table; it was 10:30 p.m. In less than two hours, the full moon would be visible.

"The full moon will be here in about two hours."
