77. The actual hybrid

Just half an hour ago I landed back in London. It was a crazy day. More than the entire day, that moment was crazier where I was surviving right now. Something unusual was happening inside my body. It was shaking and thumping with every breath I inhaled and exhaled. I was in the dense woods, darkness all over me but I could clearly see everything.

My eyes drifted to the dead wolf lying next to me. I couldn't believe that I finally had my first prey. I was panting while rubbing my mouth. As I looked at my palm it was covered with blood. That wolf's blood. My body was taking its time to accept the unusual substance.

The bitter taste of blood almost slobbered my throat. Though I wanted to drink more, my body was unable to take more of it. Nonetheless, at that moment, I only wanted to be the complete version of myself. What was the gain of living like a human and having nothing of my own? I could never be a human. At least, I could be the one that I was.
