"It was Marky Parks," Marvie said when she suddenly remembered something. "He came here this afternoon. And when I was about to go upstairs, I saw him and he said he went to Haria's room."

"So, that son of General Parks helped Haria get out of the mansion and escape from the camp," Jomer said as the words he uttered were emphasized.

Jomer turned around and immediately went downstairs. He was about to leave the mansion when Marvie stopped him.

"Where are you going, brother?"

"Where else, in the quarters of that stupid Marky Parks."

"Can you calm down first, brother?"

"How can I calm down when someone took our sister and we don't know where she is now? What if he took her somewhere that's not safe? What if Jacob Cabarse took her to hell?"
