Chapter 13 Rejections and Acceptances

Alpha Christopher and Alpha William were nowhere near as friendly and happy to be there as Alpha Derek was. Although they weren't as rude and cocky as Brody was over the phone.

Harris could tell William was amused by all the guards they had lined up in front of the packhouse. It showed on his face.

The air felt different when William's and Christopher's unmated pack members walked through the party. They didn't look as eager and excited. They held their heads high and looked at everyone as though they were better than them.
