He froze only for a fraction of a second because the next thing he was jumping right after her.

He can't let her go there. No f*cking way. This witch!

But it was too late because he couldn't stop her from going through the portal, so he could only go there with her.

He tried to grab her so he could yank her to the side before they went through the portal but it was of no use.

The moment he got a hold of the collar of her shirt they were already into the portal.

He pulled her to him as they both crashed into the hall at the foot of the sofa.

Hunter's side hit the center table as it lost its balance and the glass crashed onto the floor making a huge crashing noise. The once beautiful glass now lay in millions of tiny shards, each one so sharp and independently strong, ready to slit the one who comes in contact.

Sometimes you should never break something because you'll end up making it a dangerous weapon.
