Her body was heavy like a mountain. She could barely move her hand. Her neck throbbed and her head pounded. With much difficulty, she opened her eyes to find herself in a dark room. Her vision was blurred but the ceiling didn't belong to her room.

She tried to move but every pore of her body ached. The memories came crashing down as soon as she got her senses back and her heart dropped.

Violet sat up abruptly only to wince. Her hand shot up as she touched her neck. It hurt so much but she stiffened upon realizing there was no mark on her neck.

She touched more of her skin but the mark was gone and despite that, it hurt so much.

Lennox killed Shane.

Those haunting memories flashed in front of her eyes. This explained why her body was in so much pain and why the mark was gone.

Violet got out of bed but it was a wrong move. Dizziness hit her and she stumbled, barely saving herself from falling.
