Violet stifled a groan as she tried to move but couldn't because immense pain shot through her body causing her eyes to snap open wide. She let out a shuddering breath and blinked slowly to clear her blurry vision. Her head was pounding and her back was stiff and burning. Violet couldn't sleep the whole night. He had let her go after saying his mind and she ran away. Once she got back to her room she locked the door and slid down the door.
