Alpha King's POV

She caught me looking at her and she waved her hand in front of me. I waved back, blushed slightly, and quickly looked away. I admired her for thinking of others in a difficult situation. She was a true person, and I was lucky to have her in my life.

Kate's POV

Alpha King looked at me when I waved at him, blushed, looked away, and asked, "What?"

I smiled at him and asked him, "I was asking you about Beta May?"

He was confused and asked, "When?"

I smiled again and replied, "When were you staring at me?"

He blushed again as he didn't know and flirted with me. "I was very busy looking at my beautiful mate." Now it was my turn to blush, in such a difficult situation he knows how to lift up my spirits.

We got to the main point again and I asked, "I asked why does Beta May handle everything on his own?" He rolled his eyes at me and said, "I was being romantic and you only think about work." He pouted and added, "Well, we had never faced any situation like this before
