Kate's POV

Alpha King was clearly interested in continuing the physical display of affection. Maya suggested that we should have our own space away from everyone else in order to do so.

The evening went by like any other party. Some of them biding their farewell and some were looking for the upcoming training sessions. Alpha David was always staring at me whenever I look around.

On the night when the party was supposed to be over I was alone waiting for the Alpha King. Some Alpha wanted to talk with him about something that he was not comfortable talking about in front of me. That Alpha asked me for the Alpha King's time. The Alpha King denied him and told him to say whatever he wanted in front of me, but I refused the Alpha King and told him that he should talk to him instead.
