Chapter 11

The drive was almost twenty-five minutes for us. My pack was not as far from the Academy as it was for the Midnight Pack. I think it was a whopping forty-five minutes for them.

Humans attending our school came from smaller towns. They were either privileged or intelligent, so keeping our identity was crucial.

Not every human knew of our existence, and those who knew, because of whatever reason, were sworn or threatened not to say anything. They were frightened, and they had every reason to be. We were vicious and strong when it came to defending our kind, especially our own packs.

We were coming up a hill when the Academy became visible. The institute gave out Harvard vibes but with fewer buildings. As a matter of fact, I think it was older than Harvard.
