I put Maya on our bed and watched her sleep. Anita said that she was weakened by her continuous use of her ability and it appeared she discovered a new one. I was proud of her, Dom saying I was lucky to have her was entirely true.

I wonder how she manage to control herself. Mind reading is both a gift and a curse. It was overwhelming to know what was on everyone's mind, but it was also horrifying to know when people who were smiling at you were thinking bad about  you as well.

I watch her in her sleep, I'm pretty sure food would be the first thing in her mind when she wakes up. I didn't want to leave her side, I wanted her to see  me the moment  she woke up.
