50- Mirabella Part 2
Mirabella's POV
I couldn't do anything but cry. I know I will carry this event with me for the rest of my life. I tried to prepare myself for the time of the rogue king's return. I know that he will find a way to get close to me even if I don't come out of the pack.
And I wasn't wrong. I was on my way to the pack infirmary to visit the newly born pack member and was about to pass through the near dense part of the territory when suddenly someone talked behind me, "Have you made up your mind yet?"
I was shocked by what I heard but I tried to act brave. I turned to him and said, "Yes, the alpha's life is in exchange for my life." He laughed loudly, I don't know if it's because of what I said or because of how I look. I was feeling scared, worried and hurt for Jack and those emotions were surely evident on my face.

Andrew's POV I didn't make any comments with regards to their issue with Maya, I know that her well being is what they care the most. I didn't want to be an addition to them who had not trusted her when I knew exactly that she is not as reckless as she may seem. The issue with the rogue king was really threatening and I fully understand why they were really worried about Maya. I myself was worried as well, as I always say, she was like a daughter to me. I know very well that she was a very capable she-wolf and I strongly believe that she may have an important role in the upcoming war that the rogue king was trying to wage against the palace. After Maya explained to us about almost everything, yes, almost. I knew that she was not telling us something important as well. She would never say that the rogue king was after her if she was not trying to hide something, maybe related to Alpha Jacob. Jacob's POV I never thought that Maya had been through a lot in the Red Moon Pack. She was very strong and very capable. I knew that she could handle herself well just as she claimed but I am still worried for her. I didn't want anything to happen to her. If what Andrew had said was true, which I am sure it was, then the rogue king was really after her. I looked at her and I never saw any fear on her face, how could such a small body as her couldn't get afraid of being chased by not an ordinary rogue but a rogue king.
