Kate POV
As much as I knew what was happening, I was still caught off guard. I shouldn’t be but it stings seeing them together. I know what it means, I know I have to be strong once again, but it doesn’t make it any easier.
Moving past the new couple, I head toward my office without acknowledging them. I just need to get to my office, close my door and throw myself into my work.
