Chapter 77
Kate POV
I hear Boyd yell “NO!” as I am being held in my mate’s arms. Having been caught off guard my mate helps me up, so I am standing once again and sadly not still in his arms. I miss his arms and the sparks that were bouncing between us. Shelby is bouncing around in my head, excited we have found our mate.
But I have to deal with Boyd. He just tried to mark an unmated female who wasn’t his mate. I turn to Beta Reid and Gamma John and ask them to ensure Boyd gets to the holding cells immediately. Boyd interrupts, “You are making a big mistake Kate, there will be a big rogue attack shortly, if I am not able to call them off,” he says. “Make sure he is heavily guarded and has no visitors,” I add.

Lily POV As the evening progressed, I was asked to dance by one of my friends. I had dated him a couple years back, but now we were just really good friends. Neither of us had found our mates yet. Kate POV Running into the cells I go through to the one with the door open. The Pack Doctor is there trying to resuscitate Louise. I have a moment of catching my breath. She was only my sister for a short period of time yet seeing her lying on the floor catches me off guard. Before I can turn to ask the guards what happened, the Pack Doctor calls her time of death.
