"Take these flowers as well. And the tablecloth. Move it, move it!"
Ivory ran around in a frenzy, and so did the other omegas, trying to decorate the stage for the ceremony. I couldn't care less.
"Ugh, not this blue, Kiki. The Luna is going to be wearing a Tiffany blue dress. The streamers have to be the same color."
What the hell was a Tiffany blue? And why was that my problem?
My luggage was in the pickup truck that's sitting in some auto shop. I didn't dare open the trunk to take the suitcase out when Uncle Jon was watching me. This town was small, and the cops were jobless. He showed up on the site instead of just having the tow truck sent to me, making my running away plan a big flop.

I grabbed the long coils of string lights and went around the dais to start hanging them from a nearby stake. Going around a tree and then coming back to the front of the dais, I tried to reach as high as I could.
