A little smut, no?
Eleanor: I frowned as a heavy feeling settled in my chest as I walked out of the shower. The clench felt like my heart was being stabbed more than once, and for the first time since I could remember her hiding herself, ashamed, broken, torn, and abused, my wolf whimpered. I frowned and took a deep breath, wanting to calm her down as I tried understanding what was wrong with her. Since Elton broke her soul, she rarely ever allowed me to shift to begin with, fearing that he would hurt her more than he did to me in human form. I sat on the floor for a second and wrapped the towel around my body before shaking my head, allowing myself to take a deep breath as I composed myself. The fear that I lived through was one that I wasn’t going to go through again. Elton was not here, there was no reason for my wolf to be scared. I took deep and slow breaths, not wanting to sink into a dark abyss that I fought entering as I lived at that Estate by his side. “No one is going to hurt me here,
Killian: I frowned as I walked out of the bathroom, my chest aching as I shook my head, feeling my mate. I took a deep breath as I tried processing how the fuck that happened before my phone rang, breaking me out of my thoughts. I opened the closet to pick out my suit and I couldn’t help but feel somewhat amazed that Eleanor managed to finish all of them yesterday. Usually the girls would take a while and I would find a few missing. Now, all of them were ready and done. “Boss,” “What’s going on, Vladimir?” I asked, knowing that he wouldn’t be calling me this early in the morning unless it was important. “I just finished the search that you asked me to do about the new girl, Eleanor.” He said, and I hummed in response as I waited for what he was going to tell me. I put him on speaker as I got ready for us to go to the office. “There is no Eleanor De Luca, boss.” He said, and I frowned. The fact that a feeling told me that she was lying was something that I couldn’t ignore, but
Eleanor: I frowned as I opened my eyes to find myself curled up in a black duvet. The blanket that I had in my room, if I could call it that, was white. I sat up as the door opened, and my heart raced as I caught sight of the Alpha entering his bedroom. His eyes met mine and he studied my expression for a few seconds before taking his jacket off and rolling up his sleeves. The blanket was on my lap, and I had to fight my every instinct that begged me to run away and just hide. The fear that consumed me was one that reminded me of Elton, and that wasn’t something that I wanted. And considering that he asked who I was, it meant that he probably knew that I was Elton’s fiancé. “How do you feel?” He asked, taking me off guard. I didn’t respond as I looked down at my lap, anticipating what was to come. There were three options in this; the man was either going to send me back to Elton who would end up killing me. He could hold me hostage and use me for a ransom to gain something
Killian: “Let me get this straight, you are assigning me to clean your suite alongside Eleanor?” Natasha asked and I nodded, raising an eyebrow at her. “Don’t I do enough around the house already?” “All you do is sit on your phone alongside your mom while everyone else works.” I said, raising an amused eyebrow at the woman. Natasha was the one person that I never forced to do anything around the house. Her working in the house was not something that I liked to begin with, but I knew that it was because Liana wanted her to stay here after she completed her university, not wanting her to go and work for someone, not that I was going to allow her to do so anyway. And I didn’t mind, I loved her being around us, and the last thing that I was going to do was say something that annoyed or hurt Liana. “Excuse me, I do my nails and tend to my own business. Plus, mama often has me helping her.” She said, “Once every blue moon, and that is when she has too much on her hands.” I said, and she
Eleanor: “Don’t you have any other clothes to wear instead of this dress?” Natasha asked, taking me off guard. I shook my head and smiled shyly. “Not yet, no.” I said and she hummed in response. “Well, I think that we should go shopping this weekend. It would be our break, all the maids tend to take them in rotation, I can ask mom to arrange ours to be at the same time and we can go.” She said and I smiled. The fact that I didn’t have money was something that I couldn’t drop, but I couldn’t help but feel excited about going out to begin with. It was something that I was never allowed to do. That is, of course, unless we were traveling. I didn’t have the right to go out like other girls did. “That would be nice to do.” I said, before I realized that someone could, or more specifically, would be looking for me. Elton wouldn’t just leave me missing without sending his men to find me, that is something that would deem impossible for him, and if father found out about me being missing
Killian: I cleaned the cut that was on my fingers and shook my head as I recalled what happened. The fact that I found the man waiting for us was something that annoyed me. It only showed me that he wanted me to find him. The Bernardi were playing a dangerous game, and that was something that they all knew, but the consequence that would follow what they were doing was going to be lethal. And their assassin’s head being sent to them in a box, when they initially expected it to be mine, would be direct proof of it. However, for now, that was the last thing that I was concerned about. It was clear to me that they were not going to leave without that woman, whoever she was, being found, and the fact that someone, one of them, was hiding the way that she was, in my territory, was causing more of a stir than I would like. And I knew that it would be a matter of time before hell broke loose and things grew more complicated. I took a deep breath and washed my hand before I frowned when
Eleanor: Alpha Killian hissed in pain and I frowned, removing the cloth from his hand for a second. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you.” I said, and he shook his head as he looked me in the eye. “It’s just a sting,” he said, taking me off guard. I knew that I would have gotten a slap or two, even though it wouldn’t be my fault, back at the house for the simple sting of trying to help. The lesson of not helping when he was injured was one that I learned the hard way as I grew older. That is of course, unless I was ordered to help. Then I would be having no choice to think otherwise. The fact that he was actually allowing me to sit on his bed beside him as I tended to his cuts was something that I wouldn’t have expected, especially not as a maid who was working at his house. I looked down at his hand which was in mine as he gently ran his finger over mine. I blushed but stayed completely still as I kept my eyes on his hand for a few seconds before slowly going back to cleaning
Killian:My lips brushed against my mate’s, causing sparks to course through my veins as I fought the urge to take my mate here and now, claiming her as my own. However, that excitement quickly faded as I frowned when Eleanor froze for a second before putting a hand on my chest, stopping me. Her eyes held a fear that had me fighting my wolf off from reacting. She quickly looked down at her lap, her eyes avoiding mine, and despite the clench that I felt, I knew to quickly recompose myself, not wanting to frighten her, especially after what happened the other day. She slowly removed her hand from my chest, clenching her fist as she tried fighting her shaking hands. “I’m sorry…” “Hey,” I said, stopping her, my voice softening as I heard and saw her fear in her voice, body language, and eyes. Her heart raced and I smiled before running a finger over her hand gently. “You don’t need to apologize.” Her eyes met mine momentarily and I smiled in assurance, wanting to comfort her. The frown
