So, we got a version from Elton's POV. I am curious about how you feel about this one, haha. I did give you two easy chapters to spice it up a bit, and I believe that we are now ready for more cliffhangers, no? Comment your opinions, and of course, don't forget to give me lovely votes and reviews.
Killian: “You’re annoyed,” Vladimir said, raising an eyebrow. “Stop the search on Eleanor,” I said, and he frowned in confusion before shaking his head in confusion. I walked out of the office and the man followed close behind before grabbing my arm and shaking his head in question. “Are you going to at least explain what is going on?” He asked, and I pinched the bridge of my nose. It took everything in me not to burst out in front of Eleanor, and it wasn’t out of anger toward her, if anything, I couldn’t help but respect her more than I already did. But it was the fact that I didn’t see through her eyes to know that she’s been standing in front of me, silently begging me to know who she was all along. “Alienora,” I said, and he frowned. “You’re being serious?” He asked, and I nodded. “Yes, and we have a fucking Italian prick to kill.” I said, walking out of the house. Vladimir followed close behind, his heart racing, and I could see his shadow as he clenched and unclenched hi
Eleanor: I woke up when I heard the door open. My heart raced and I fisted my blanket in both fear and worry, waiting for whatever terror was to come. The light opened, and it took me a second to catch Killian’s scent and realize that I was safe, and that the fear that I lived through was now in the past. I wasn’t back at the pack where I was to be harmed the second my door was opened. “I’m sorry for not knocking on the door. I didn’t think that I would be waking you up.” He said, standing by the door. I nodded and ran my fingers through my hair before he slowly took a step forward. His eyes were fixed on mine as he looked into my soul, silently asking me to allow him in, to trust that he would be different, and to trust that he wouldn’t harm me. I watched as he closed the door, and it wasn’t until I processed what I was seeing that I frowned at the sight of bruises and blood that was on his face. “Killian, what the…?” “It’s nothing, malyshka.” He said, sitting beside me. I f
Killian: “Killian, you don’t have to make me a guest.” Eleanor said, shaking her head at me. “I was gladly doing what I…” “I am not asking, Eleanor.” I said, stopping her. “You are my guest and needless to say, my mate.” “What I did never changed the fact that I was your mate to begin with. I was working for my own money,” she said, and I shook my head at the woman. “I am going to pretend that I did not hear that.” I said, shaking my head at the woman. “I may hate your family with everything that I have in me, but I also know what it is to respect when a wolf is of pure blood. And regardless of where you come from, you are my mate, and someone that I chose to accept, and would proceed to choose to accept until the end of time. It may not make any sense to you, but that doesn’t really matter right now.” “It does to me, Killian.” She said, and I shrugged. “Eleanor, it is not like you can walk to begin with.” I said, shaking my head at her. “And if it is independence that you’re l
Elton: I frowned as I walked inside my house to find a box in front of the door. “What’s this again?” I asked, shaking my head in question. The smell of honey filled my nostrils, and I couldn’t help but frown in confusion about why I would be having a box, the size of a body, filled with honey. “It’s not the only one, sir.” A Russian said from behind me. His shoes clicked on the tile floor with each step that he took and he smiled as he stood in front of me. “A wedding gift from the bratva, more specifically, the Pakhan himself.” I nodded at my men to open the crate. I knew that he was a messenger and killing him would be a direct act of war. That was something that I could afford considering the fact that the fucker Luca was still alive. The one way for me to get what I wanted done, was to have that prick dead. However, until his daughter and I were wed, that would be impossible for me to do. Yandel, the man who opened the box, frowned at the sight of the honey before he pushed h
Eleanor: “Is everything okay?” I asked Killian who smiled at me as he put his phone in his pocket. He sat on the floor beside me before wrapping an arm around me and pulling me to his chest. “Yes, I just had a little something to deal with, but I am done and now I am free for my little mate.” He said, making me blush. He kissed my temple, and I couldn’t help but find myself melting in his embrace for a second before curling up in his arms. “Tonight has been lovely, thank you for this, Killian.” I said, looking up at him. He smiled and ran his hand over my shoulder, gently massaging it, making my heart swell. “I promised you that I am going to be…” “It’s not only about your promise,” I said, and he frowned in confusion as I turned to face him. “You made me feel safe, even when I knew that you held a gun at me, a small part of me believed that you were not going to harm me. I don’t even know what it was, but I knew that you would rather die than hurt me like he did.” “Eleanor…”
Killian: “The man was not happy, boss.” Igor said through the phone. “I did not send the corpses to him to be happy. The two of us knew very well that he would be very pissed about it.” I said calmly. “Did he say anything to respond?” “No, I walked out of the room without him saying a word. The man was completely baffled, but judging by his friend’s expression, I doubt that the two of them would be planning to stop this madness that they are doing.” I nodded in response despite knowing that the man couldn’t see me. “I will give them twenty-four hours before we proceed again. You know, he might get his brain back inside his head, and if that happens, then he would manage to at least save whatever pride and dignity he thinks he has left. If not, then he can start counting the corpses of his men.” I said, and he hummed in response. “You can come back to the Estate, Igor.” “Yes, boss.” He said before I hung up. I turned to find Vladimir walking out of his office. His eyes met mine an
Eleanor: “Did Killian just slam the door shut?” I asked, frowning in confusion. “I assume that the two of you are now on a first name basis.” Natasha teased, making my cheeks redden. “I am guessing that you being an Alpha born does have its perks.” “Hell, more than anything.” I said, and she frowned. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean…” “I am the one who should apologize, and not you, El.” She said, stopping me. I smiled and shook my head at the woman before wrapping my arms around her as I pulled her in for a hug. It wasn’t something that I should be blaming her for. If anything, I knew that her situation was no better than mine, to some extent at least. The woman was somehow saved, but I knew that it was a scar that no one forgot. And no matter how old they were, the pain always stuck. “I am guessing that one never really knows what goes on behind closed doors, does he?” “Well, everyone technically knew that I was being abused. It was just that no one really reacted to it. The first per
Killian: “I am going to ask you this question once, Daria, and I expect an answer,” I said, holding the woman against the wall as she glared at me. “What the fuck are you doing here?” The fact that she was here right now was a risk itself, and though I knew that she was the one person who was well aware of the entrances and exits of the Estate, I couldn’t help but wonder how she got in here and when she did. The idea of Eleanor finding out about her in my room was not something that I wanted. It wasn’t the fact that I was doing something wrong, but it was the fact that I didn’t want to push her away by letting her think that I might have someone in my life when I wanted nothing more than to be with her and her alone. However, at this point, that was something that I had to think of later. What mattered now was the main motive behind what this woman was up to, and judging by her expression, I could tell that she wasn’t here for a shot of vodka. “I heard that you have a woman over, a
