“I’ll get ready and come down to you,” I said, answering Vladimir who hummed in response.

“And Eleanor?” He asked, and I watched as she opened the door, raising an eyebrow at me. I sighed, and he chuckled, knowing that she was going to be a challenge.

“I’ll see you in a bit.” I said, and he chuckled before the two of us hung up.

“And where the hell do you think you’re going?” She asked, watching as I got up from the bed. Her eyes met mine and she walked toward me, glaring daggers at me.

“The office,” I said, trying to prove to her that I was going to go regardless of what she was going to tell me.

“You, my love, are supposed to be resting.” Eleanor said, wanting to push me back on bed as she put her hands on my shoulders. I chuckled and shook my head at her. She knew for fact that I didn’t want to rest, but I knew that she was right. To say the least, even the doctors were against me standing and doing excess activities on a daily basis.
