Somebody shouted from outside.

Killian and Black felt like they were daydreaming because this has happened before.

Killian and Black reached the grounds while riding their horses and when they got to the place where the attack was centered, they were surprised at how peaceful and calm everything was.

The western guards were facing the southern guards in a silent stare down but nobody was making a move to attack.

Killian knew why his people weren't attacking and that's because that's what he taught them. They should never attack first because if they do, they will lose a battle.

It is important to keep calm and let the other party attack first because, in that way, they can gauge their movements and create a better strategy to win.
