Yifa's POV

With a bright smile on my face, I strolled back to the palace grounds. It's truly challenging to feel down when I've just formed a genuine friendship amidst the difficult circumstances we encountered. It's a powerful reminder that people have the capacity to change if shown kindness. However, this experience has also enlightened me about the dark side of humanity—how people can commit heinous acts driven by a thirst for power.

The misuse of power became evident to me as well, as those in positions of authority often exploit their influence to control and manipulate others, coercing them into unwanted actions. Gazing up at the darkening sky, a sigh escaped my lips. I firmly believe that people who possess an inherent kindness should be the ones entrusted with power.

"Hey, rogue!" A voice called out, attempting to draw my attention. Though I was aware they were referring to me, I no longer identified myself as a rogue and chose not to turn back.

This marks the beginning of my
