"I feel nervous," I whispered to Zacharias who was lowering his head to match our height. He smiled a sweet smile that made the people around us focus their attention on us.

Zacharias bent his back again. His breath tickled the nape of my neck. "It's okay, we're on your side."

As my feet stepped into the grand room, my eyes focused only on the many people who had seated themselves in their respective chairs. The very long table was surrounded by chairs on the right and left sides, no one occupying the end which implied that everyone was considered equal here.

Zaire pulled out a chair for me, I responded with a smile and sat down. Strangely, every little action my husbands made drew stares from everyone. They seemed to see a new side of my husbands that was interesting in their eyes.
