Horrible Death

My legs moved two steps backward. My hand shot up to cover my lips. However, a smirk was hidden there.

I wasn't surprised, but rather proud that my hunch that I vaguely believed in my heart turned out to be correct.

Anyone would have guessed it easily. Rather than assuming that the real culprit was another pack, it made more sense that it was Alpha Rogue. I was sure coupled with Thalia's statement, that it could be declared a truth. Well, although I still can't guess and know who Alpha Rogue's accomplices are hiding in the Celestial Dawn pack.

"You're smiling?" growled Thalia with her hands clenched tightly.

"Yeah, I'm smiling because I'm happy. My guess was right and I've prepared some plans in my brain for that. Then why am I feeling sad?"

I walked closer to Thalia. "Aren't you the one who was banished by your leader who should feel sad? How desperate are you to reveal the secret you've been trying to keep?"
