Chapter 11: Swept Off

Amarantha's POV

The evening came and Iram was still in his bed as advised by his pack doctor. But despite that, he was still open to his council members for a meeting.

I had to be there since I needed to make sure that Iram's heart doesn't stop. I was a bit confident about my ability as his curse-breaker, though I knew that I was just a fake, I still believe that I have the same effect as his real curse-breaker.

I saw his wounds healed in front of me when I touched his cheek. It was indeed magic!

I was never a believer in magic or any kind of sorcery. But seeing what had happened earlier made me think twice.

Maybe I was really a curse-breaker. Or someone who can heal others, not just him.

Since Iram was injured, the council had decided to postpone the plan of finding the Rogue Witch.

Gufu stood up. "My King, why don't we also postpone the announcement during the Full Moon Festival? We still have to make sure that everything is set before you face the members of the pack," he suggested.
