Zander P. O. V

A sudden force pushed me and knocked me on my back. I crashed to the floor with a weight on my lower half. Sound of glass shattering followed by painful screams rang in the air. I opened my eyes and saw Alex was lying on me.Her eyes were shut tightly. Her face contracted in pain. I twisted my body to one side to see the old chandelier which was hanging from the ceiling from the time when my great grandfather was the alpha king, crashed on the floor.

The chandelier fell on Alex's lower half .The skirt of her gown was turning red. She tried to pull herself out but was of no use. The metal body of the chandelier was too heavy for her to get out from under it. I pushed my body backwards with my elbows and came out . Standing up I move to help Alex.

Shattered glass was everywhere.Avoiding the glasses I went near the broken chandelier. I carefully pushed the body of the chandelier to a side but a glass piece stabbed into my skin. I retreat my hand with a jerk. Blood started
