After that whole thing happened and Icy confessed to noticing Silas feeling the mate bond, I threw up out of fright and anxiousness.
I could feel the fever in my body. The condition turned so bad that I couldn’t even walk to my room and lie down in peace.
I fainted right on my spot and on the cold floor of the living room.
“Mommy! What happened to you? Please wake up,” I woke up to the dying cries of my daughter and her gentle hands over my arms.
She was trying to shake me into waking up from the floor. I must be gone for hours because she had returned home, but then who brought her home because recently, I have been picking her up from the school myself.
