"Thomas, what's the matter?" Emanual asked.

Iris began to get worried. She knows only one thing can make Thomas this worked up, and it is Eros.

"Is it Eros? What happened to him? Is he alright?" she asked with concern.

Thomas took a deep breath before sharing what he came for.

"Lady Iris, his highness is awake. But he is angry. He asked about you. General Maxim said that you went out with some work and would be back soon. But that angered his highness greatly. He is trying to kill Maxim" Thomas said hastily.

Iris gasped with shock.

"Oh dear god. He must be thinking that i left the palace. Let's go" she muttered and rushed towards the Imperial palace, leaving Emanual behind.

"Well done old friend. His highness loves Iris deeply. He would never let her go or let any harm touch her either. Now i should find out where you are" Emanual thought.

When Iris reached the Imperial palace, she saw Mina and the other concubines from the harem waiting outside while anxiously looking inside
