Sense

In the Imperial palace, Iris is feeling restless. She is feeling that evil is closing in on her. This is exactly how she felt near the northern borders just before the Nephilim monster attacked them. This time the feeling is intense and more pronounced. She sat up on the bed and took deep calming breaths to calm her nerves.

'What is this? Did the Nephilim know that i am here? Are they coming here? ' she began to panic.

But just as fast as she felt the evil closing in, it disappeared before she could think about alerting Eros.

'Is this my imagination, or did the Nephilim come close? ' she wondered.

Eros woke up when he felt Iris panicking. He saw that she is sitting on the bed with a worried frown.

"Iris? What happened? Why are you not sleeping?" he too sat up and rubbed her arms which has goosebumps on them.

Iris looked at him with a confused and disturbed frown.

"Nothing" she murmured.

Eros sighed. He pulled her into his lap and wrapped his arms tightly around her waist.
