Without even allowing the elevator door to open completely Raphael staggered inside, his black eyes roaming around the huge living room. They landed on the hallway leading to the rooms. Without wasting time, he ran towards there, allowing himself to be led to Haven’s room.

There was nothing more painful than hurting a lycan’s mate. Hurting their mate would considerably weaken them, making them unable to do anything.

They wouldn’t be able to function properly as they would be so devastated when the mate bond was torn apart. Both the human and the beast would be affected greatly and that’s exactly what happened to Raphael.

The moment he stepped into the room, his eyes zoomed in on the person laying on the bed.
