MEETING THE GAMMA (I)

“ And done!” Kai said with a yawn as he stretched his tired body. How mean of Lucious to make him do all of this work the moment he returned.

“ Typical Lucious” He muttered under his breath and got to his feet. He had been sitting here since his discussion with the Alpha earlier. The latter had left after handing him a ton of paperwork to deal with as punishment for refusing to return home after meeting his mate.

Kai felt sad knowing about what had happened, between the Alpha and his mate. He tried his best make Lucious change his mind but it seemed like he had already made up his mind. Kai can only wish everything turns out well for the both of them. He even wanted to bring up Rosie but decided against it. It’d be too harsh to talk about his own mate in front of someone who was already hurt by his own mate.
