Eva's POV

You're right, I was just. paranoid." He said and I let out a smile.

"I won't be surprised if we go back to the way we were before." I told and faced him.

"I hope we can, but I understand if you don't want to. I wouldn't blame you," he said, his voice sincere.

"I know I've made a lot of mistakes, and I've hurt you. But I want to make it right. I want to earn your forgiveness." I looked into his eyes, and I could see the sincerity there. I could tell that he meant what he was saying. I took a deep breath, and let my walls down a little.

"I'm willing to try," I said. "But I'm still a little wary.

"Our lips met, and I felt a rush of emotions course through me. I felt a spark of electricity, a sense of connection. It was a kiss that was full of emotion, a kiss that spoke of forgiveness and hope. A kiss that said,
