MAX I was watching Raven from a distance. I am trying my best not to look like a creep, but my eyes were glued to her every move. She’s impressive, I have never seen multitasking skills take good, well except for my mom. I swallow back the lump that’s forming in my throat. Ryker and Colton are staring at me with stoic faces. They remain quiet. I know they are thinking back on the recent rogue attacks their respective packs have been experiencing. Raven I handed the final list to Hailey, the Beta-female. I didn’t realise how emotionally draining it would be to help with the list of injured and dead when I took the clipboard from Lucy. But I would do it again. I have a pretty good idea of how Lucy might feel. That fear and pain of losing someone you love. It’s like having a claw around your heart that tightens with each breath.
