"So, Freya. This rogue, he was only eyeing the training members? Did he seem to be contacting someone? Or maybe anyone else was there?"

Freya shook her head. She was a woman in her middle 30s. Brown hair and blue eyes. She was an Omega mated to a vampire named Kave, who also became a part of my pack.

"He was alone and only kept an eye out, didn't seem to mind-link or anything."

"You didn't see anything unusual about him? Are you sure?"

She thought for a moment then suddenly her eyes widened.

"He had one of his legs patched up and was limping. That's all."

Letting the information soak in, I steepled my fingers under my chin and spun around in the chair once then sighed.

"Alright, thank you Freya. You may leave now."

"My pleasure, Alpha." She left.

I turned to Jessie, the head of First Range warrior team.

"Everything's going as I instructed, right? Nothing changed while I was away?"

"No, Alpha." Her voice was monotonous and stoic, face expressionless.
