Chapter 11

Katerina:

I looked down at my feet as I listened to the Alpha laughing with Gala, the maid who I learned raised him up as a kid.

My heart ached as I walked away from his office’s door, heading back to the living room where I was preparing my schedule for next year’s first semester.

Classes started in a month and I was still to discuss whether or not the Alpha would allow me to go back to my studies, but then again, the two of us haven’t had a proper conversation without arguing with one another since we got married.

I watched as the Alpha and Gala walked out of the office. His eyes meeting mine for a second as he passed the living room “Gala, prepare the table and let us know when it is ready”

Gala nodded, walking toward the kitchen as Alpha Nathan walked inside the living room, looking at the laptop in my hand “what are you doing?”

“Fixing up my semester’s plan” I said hesitantly. I turned the laptop for him to look at the window only for him to frown.
