Chapter Eighteen - Rage

She was gone. Two hours after we checked on her from the doctors, we got a call from one of the nurses that she had disappeared from the area and now we had all gone into a frenzy. No trace of her was left and the only scent of hers we could pick up was in her room and apart from there, her scent could not be found anywhere else.

I had checked the bathroom only to find an empty bottle of masking spay on one of the shelves. That was when I knew that she had escaped from me.

After beating some warriors almost to the brink of death in frustration, I sent out countless search parties — which consisted of some of my best warriors — to search the area over a ten-mile radius scope. She couldn't be that far away. It had only been four hours anyway, and I knew that she couldn't walk really fast because she didn't look athletic at all.
