NIA’S POV

Gael curled himself on the bed, resting his head on my thigh. I caressed his hair slowly; he hadn't been much of himself all day, and I had no choice but to head down to his room to make him feel better. It is my first time here. It is a space befitting for royalty. With the king-sized bed, I am sure it can take about six people if allowed.

“What's wrong, baby?” I asked, breaking the discomforting silence.
