Raul sat still in the living room. He was entertained by the maids with refreshments. He was watching a werewolf movie on television and was amazed at how the humans loved to watch werewolf movies but do not believe in the existence of werewolves. He watched the movie and laughed at the way the movie exaggerated their way of life.
He was entertaining himself when Hayley and Stan walked in holding hands and laughing so hard. He froze at the scene; just hen, Hayley saw him and gasped in surprise. Stan swallowed hard and gazed at him. Raul was furious but he tried to control himself.
Hayley approached him slowly with a straight face and said to him. “Hey!”
Raul did not respond. His gaze was fixed on Stan who stood at a distance and watched Hayley.
“We weren’t expecting you here.” Hayley continued. “How did you… I mean, when did you get here?”
“Not long.” His eyes met with hers.
