Chapter 46- Village Under Siege

Morgana’s POV

Exiting the cells that are located beneath one of the abandoned huts on the outskirts of the village, we walk into chaos. Everywhere we turn, members from the Blue River Pack were fighting for their lives against an unknown enemy.

Women, and even some children, can be seen fleeing the attack, running blindly into the forest surrounding the village. Fire explodes in one of the huts as we try to sneak past it, three women barely dressed run from the burning hut screaming. Adam and I stand and watch in silence as the women disappear somewhere into the forest.

My gaze switches to Adam’s, a look of uncertainty passing between us. “I am not sure that these are my brothers and sisters.” He says to me, a frown scrunching up his brows as he looks around at the destruction of the village.

Just then a man steps out from behind one of the burning huts. At least I am pretty sure it was a man, they had the build of a man, but every piece of their body has been covered with black
