Chapter ninety

RAIDEN’S POV

I drove to Gaven's apartment again the next day, feeling a sense of comfort in knowing that I had someone to talk to who understood what I was going through. Gaven greeted me at the door with a smile and a pat on the back.

"Hey, brother. How are you feeling today?" he asked.

"I'm feeling a little better, actually," I replied. "I've been thinking a lot about what you said yesterday, about taking some time for myself and focusing on what makes me happy."

Gaven nodded, looking pleased. "That's great to hear. Have you given any thought to where you might want to go on a trip?"

I shook my head. "Not yet. But that's something I'm definitely considering."

"Good," he said, his expression serious. "You need to take care of yourself first and foremost. And don't let anyone tell you otherwise."

I smiled, feeling grateful for his support. "Thanks, Gaven. I really appreciate your advice and your friendship. And speaking of that, I wanted to talk to you about something else."
