At that exact moment one of the stalls opened and a guy walked out while fixing his belt. "Holy f**k! This is a Male's restroom." The guy said completely shocked as washed his hands and looked at Rasmus who was leaning against the wall and then at her. "I see." The guy smirked as he walked towards the door, Catherine stepped aside so he could leave. "Enjoy." The guy mouthed to Rasmus and he winked at Catherine who just gaped at him dumbfounded. "Enjoy what? The smell of your farts you left behind?" She snapped as that guy froze on the spot looking hella embarrassed before he immediately left from there. "Would you come out with me so we can talk?"
Catherine was in the library trying to study for the test that was given to them and would be held tomorrow. She was the type of student who won't study daily and only studied at the last hours, or you can say one night before an exam. That doesn't mean she gets bad grades. The girl was super intelligent and always got good grades. The only least intelligent one in their gang was Joseph and the complete bookworm was Quinn. Samuel, Avery, and Catherine come in the middle. "Quinn please..." Joseph pleaded with puppy dog eyes and Quinn ignored his whole existence. Quinn was the one who helped Joseph in his studies. She was persuading him to study for the last two days but he didn't, and now he was begging her to make a spell of all the topics and magically install it in his brain.
Catherine looked to her right to find Rasmus already glaring at the desk. Superb. "Sir, I think Mr. Colt doesn't want to be my partner," Catherine said loud and clear. Every head snapped in his direction and she barely controlled her giggle when she felt his eyes drilling holes in her head. "Is there a problem Mr. Colt?" Professor asked calmly. Two minutes passed before he finally decided to bless the whole class with one plain word. "No." The girls aka the cheerleaders sighed as if they were riding high on his drug. Ew!
Catherine took her time. First, she went to the cafeteria to get some snacks as she chit-chatted with her friends. When she was happy that she made him wait at least twenty minutes, she made her way to the library. He was sitting on that usual table where she first saw him in the library. Walking up to him she sat on the chair to his right. Rasmus glared at the book in front of him. "Late." He gritted that one word out with force causing her to roll her eyes. "You made me wait for two days for this work. Twenty minutes is nothing compared to that." She said with a smirk on her face which he ignored completely. "You'll cover this." He said curtly as he showed her the topics she has to cover. Catherine sighed as she grabbed the book from in front of him and started doing the work. He was no fun at all! They didn't realize when two hours passed just like that and not even half of their work was complete when her phone started ringing. Pic
"I hate them!" He growled. "Whatttttttt?" Catherine shrieked out loud enough for him to clench his jaw in annoyance. Grabbing her elbow he pushed her inside the house and walked in as well, he shut the door and locked it. Tossing the keys on the side table he placed his bag on the sofa and removed his jacket. Catherine who stood beside the door watched as his muscles flexed as he removed that jacket. 'Don't drool Catherine.' She scolded herself and looked away before he turned to face her. "I hope you were kidding when you said you hate vampires. They don't even exist, Mr. Mute." She said as she looked around the place. The place gave her cold vibes just like him. The lounge was the size of her room and she could see a small corridor with three doors and there was an open kitchen to her left. "You start working." He said motioning at the bag and he walked into the last room leaving her alone behind. 'You start working.' S
"Why do I smell, a human here?" Lennox mused with the twinkle in his eyes. Rasmus stayed silent as Catherine heard no response from his side. What did that guy even mean by smelling a human here? What was he? A dog? Catherine huffed in annoyance at how Rasmus behaved with her. Rotating around she looked around the darkroom. With little, she could see Catherine strolling toward the bedside table and turning on the lamp. She smiled at her little achievement as she looked around the room which was not at all extraordinary. There was a bed in the middle of the room. One cupboard to the corner, a study table, a window, and that was it. There was no attached restroom which meant the other door in the corridor might be the restroom. Catherine gasped dramatically when she found a beautiful golden birdcage dangling near the window. Like an excited child, she jumped towards it and stared at the beautiful blue sparrow. Catherine's eyes twinkled with joy as she ogled at the sparrow. "Oh my
"Don't tell me that I'm in a movie or something." She muttered in shock. She looked around the place with cautious eyes and then tiptoe towards Rasmus through the shadows. There was no one in sight. "What?" Rasmus growled as his head snapped up straight in her direction and his eyes glared daggers at her, how in the world could he see her when she was hiding in the dark, behind huge boxes. "What the f**k are you doing here?" He hissed as he tried to struggle but only hissed in pain those chains seemed to burn his skin. Catherine's nose scrunched up at his rudeness, coming out of the dark she walked straight to him and glared down at him while placing her hands on her hips. "What an ignorant, rude assh*le you are. I came all the way here to save your ass." She hissed at him with the same anger. Rasmus paused; his eyes widened slightly as he stared at her like he couldn't believe what she just said. "I know I'm pretty and y
"Well, well, well. What a pleasant surprise, human." A deep chilling voice resonated in the whole place. Catherine tensed up instantly as her heart started to beat faster at an abnormal pace. At first, she doubted that Rasmus was toying with her but now she was sure he wasn't lying. The voice alone scared the crap out of her. "Don't turn around Cath. Don't you dare?!" She was blabbering to herself but in the end, curiosity got the best of her and she turned to look at her soon-to-be murderer. "H...Hi." Ever so awkwardly she raised her hand and waved at him and also plastered an awkward smile on her face. As soon as her eyes found his face, her heart drummed wildly at how strikingly good-looking he was. He was tall, probably the same height as Rasmus with a strong masculine physique. What got her eyes to widen were his silver hair and his skin, it was so tan complimenting his hair color and not to mention his silver eyes. Though he was so handsome, he
