Flora - POV

“I can’t say the name Ryker. I wish I could,” I said. Ryker looked at me intensely and I still stood staring in grey dark eyes.

“Tell me, are you scared that he will hurt you? Trust me, I’ll take care of him. You won't be harmed,” Ryker assured me. I showed him the tattoo on my wrist.

“Does this seal stop you from speaking?” Ryker asked, and I nodded, tears filling my eyes. He scrutinized my wrist, his eyes narrowing. His fingertips seemed to hold magic, and I moaned in pain as the seal was undone. Ryker held me until the pain subsided.

“Now, tell me the name. You’re free from the seal,” Ryker urged. I told him what Elton did to me, why he wanted me pregnant with his child, and how he assaulted me. I sobbed. Elton would soon attack the Black Mist Pack; he had men ready for it. He wanted to harm Ryker and Ivan. Ryker's eyes turned colder, and I could sense the room growing darker.
