Angel noticed the tone that Mira just used and it sent some ache to his heart but he understand them. He knew that Mira was being careful and patient for his sake due to the haunting past that still disturbed his mind. He knew already that it was not good for him and Mira came at the right time. Angel finally confirmed about willing to change and Mira was his light to start it.
“I, Angel Reeves, the Alpha Rogue of the unnamed pack, accept the mate bond that I am having with the noble vampire Mira La Croix who will be the Luna of my soon-to-be pack and wife after we got married.” Angel suddenly confessed as he took the liberty to fully accepted the bond that he and Mira were having for each other.
Mira was taken back there for a moment but there was something else that was left inside her mind. She composed herself and looked deep
Mira smiled as she noticed the gesture that Angel suddenly did to himself. She watched her beloved mate carefully feel himself from within just to distinguish what kind of light that she was referring to. “Yes, the light from within oneself was the hope that sparks for you to keep going in your life. Find that source of light within you and you’ll see, you can face hardships over and over without backing down.” Mira clearly answered Angel and it was causing his tears to halt and changed into something puzzling expression. He wanted to know what kind of light that he had from within. Angel began to think about the light within him while feeling his heartbeat and breathing calmly until his eyes found the highest heaven’s cross, the moon, and especially, Mira. ‘
‘Dammit these two…always bring trouble to us…now we’re facing our deaths because of their stupid behavior that we kept saving…’ ‘Hope they will save us from these two…I hate them…if only they didn’t help us survive living in the human dwellings, we won’t be close to them…’ ‘How many deaths do we escape due to their recklessness? But I don’t think we could survive this one… sis…’ ‘Brother…’ Mira heard them and looked carefully at the two rogues who she knew were blood siblings but they came from different fathers and yet, they were very protective of each other. ‘Babe, I think these two are different…I could sense that…hm…’
As that issue came as a closed case already, Mira sighed as she slouch back on the couch and Angel chuckled over the relaxed expression that he was witnessing before his eyes. Mira noticed and shoot her glare at him. “Don’t look at me like that. I’m stressed out.” Mira sighed as she rolled her eyes because she was feeling drained dealing with irritation around her land. “Then how about some melody to play in your ears.” Angel suggested and Mira loves the sound of it. “Let me hear yours since you’re offering.” Mira agreed with a hopeful smile that Angel loves to see more often from her lips. “Then let’s go to the music room.” Angel grabbed Mira’s wrist and immediately carried her into his arms like a bride before dashing to the music room.
Angel started to release some energy that Mira was surprised that he had in him and she was totally amased watching it steaming out from her beloved mate. Then Angel’s energy suddenly shoots up to the night sky and spread like wildfire but then vanished in mid-air. “Interesting…They were fallen rogue but they were sane. They were just camping at two hundred yard away from our land’s border. But not at the western side…” Angel trailed off what he was sensing since Mira was listening to his report. “They were at that spot again…” Mira clicked her tongue when she heard it. Angel opened his eyes and looked confusedly at her. “Again? Then you better tighten the security there a little and make sure to be up to the tree. One sane fallen rogue was being chased by two insane fallen rogues…I think they were
Seeing innocent smile from the young teenager, Mira went closer to Angel and say something. But the words she say were clear enough for Isabelle to hear. “Hubby, take her to my bedroom. I’ll be there after I make some calls.” Mira whispered to Angel before she kissed Isabelle’s temple and went to her office. “Okay, but…” Angel said with a heavy sigh as she watched the retreating back of Mira vanished to the hall. “...but I don’t know where’s your bedroom…” he sighed in defeat since he had never been in Mira’s bedroom. “Well, I guess I will just find out like how I found you around the mansion.” he told to himself with a sigh for the third time and took Isabelle with him, locating Mira’s bedroom.
As another day came on the land of La Croix land, everyone suddenly felt the urge to wake up before the sun could even hit the earthly ground. They all prepared themselves with their usual routine and partially do their morning rounds around the land before heading to the open field. At exactly six in the morning, the field was indeed filled with them and waiting patiently to meet their two leaders; Mira and Angel. “SALUTE!” Malik and Sedrick came on shouting to everyone to be notified of the arrival of their leaders on the patio of the mansion facing the field. “Woah, you are all too early.” Mira commented when she saw everyone was present on the field. Nobody was doing their patrol at the moment aside from Mira and Angel’s highly guarded senses throughout their land. “Seems excit
Angel waved his hand to gathered everyone around since they’d witnessed something that really caught everyone by surprise. They were indeed needing some explanation about it. But of course, Angel won’t give every answer to them. “Alright, as you all suddenly witness what just happened between Isabelle and Rica, they suddenly caught up in the moment of their training which could happen in real-life experience.” Angel started explaining to them as Mira made a hand gesture to make them sit on the ground. “What made Isabelle surrender was something advanced than the basic training that I gave all to everyone. And if you’re asking about what made Rica advance more than anyone of you was because of her senses.” he continued on explaining and they were all listening attentively. “I know you are confused b
Mira began to make a move and take a very careful advance toward the thirteen doing advance training on the field. But before she could even get close to their perimeter, Mira cloaked everything about her. She was in her huntress mode that cannot be sense at all. Angel was totally impressed with what his mate can do. ‘You’re falling for her.’ “I can’t deny that. Aside from the pull of being mates, she’s there to be the beckon of light in my darkest side. She sparks hope and dreams inside of me that I thought I already forgot. It makes me want to do something for her. The urge does give even though I don’t have anything, Alarick.” Angel sighed at the comment of his wolf as he subconsciously placed his hand above his chest to feel his calm heartbeat before looking at Mira. Mira started on giving th
