Mira was just smiling over the worry-rat reaction of Angel that she never had seen before. Angel noticed that Mira was not saying anything and the way she looks at him really disturbing as it made him shivered. He suddenly felt shy for some reason that he could not totally explain.
“S-seriously, W-wifey…w-what’s g-going on with I-Isabelle? I-I need-d to k-know-w.” Angel stuttered shyly at how Mira looked at him.
“Don’t stutter, my lovely Hubby. Isabelle knew her fallen side that’s why I have to knock her out since she warned us already about it in case she loses her cool during the training.” Mira smiled assuringly at him but Angel could not feel at ease when Isabelle was still out cold. Mira sighed and turned her attention to their imprinted sleeping daughter.
“Isabelle, Baby, wake up. Daddy is wo
A fallen rogue is an individual who has succumbed to negativity and can be extremely hazardous. Their putrid odor is not only lethal, but they also resemble a zombie with no signs of sanity. It is nearly impossible to approach them, except for a genuine companion who can pierce through the darkness in their heart. A true companion is the only hope that can lead them out of the abyss, no matter how far they have fallen called true mate. “That will be difficult.” Angel sighed before he glance at Mira who gave her a reassuring smile. "Dealing with the aftermath of a fallen rogue can be a challenging task for their partner. Even if their mate has accepted them despite their past, it doesn't guarantee a smooth journey ahead. The struggle lies in the fallen rogue's inability to come to terms with their past behavior. Only when they accept their past can their partner help them overcome it." Frizabelle elaborated on this
Even with a gratitude expression from the mistress of the mansion, Mira still caught the sly and grinning lips from Ceres which indicates something. She was caught up in whatever Ceres was going to say. “Oh, no problem at all but when it comes to mate thing, push it a little bit more. You’ll get him on bed tonight.” Ceres teased then winked at Mira who instantly blushed upon hearing it. “CERES!” Mira shouted but more sounded like a whine while blushing. She suddenly got embarrassed by Ceres' comment. But when she glanced over her shoulder, Angel blushed slightly but smiled at how cute Mira was. “Wifey…you’ll be sleeping on the couch tonight.” Frizabelle might be smiling but there was intense warning toward Ceres. Ceres flinched and pouted like a whining kid.
Feeling the anger from Angel’s wolf radiating through his body, Angel needs a few moments to adjust to his calm state. But not under the careful watch of his mate beside him. Mira quickly touched his back and stipulated that she was good from the incident.“Alarick, calm down now.” Mira gently soothed the back of her beloved mate even though she was still feeling irritated by what she felt earlier around that particular nomad.Angel’s wolf was about to say something back to his mate when Malik’s presence came out from the shadow and hurriedly went to Mira’s side.“Mistress, I’ve got the information from the neighboring pack around the city, from the police station reports, and a telegram from Sir Montez.” Malik almost sou
As the sweet moment needed came to an end, Mira caressed Angel’s face dearly as they both savored the moment they had shared there. But as Angel placed a kiss over Mira's temple, she knew already that she had to let him go to do his rounds before dinner hit the clock. Watching the retreating back of Angel fade behind the closed door of the mansion's office, the smile from her heart never escapes Mira's lips. She even shakes her head to send her back to reality because of the overflowing feelings creeping out of her heart. “Show me more, Hubby. Allow me to see the depth of your heart’s darkness. Reveal them all to me and I will promise to give you something that you can’t escape from anymore.” Mira was feeling the hard sledgehammer beat of her heart when she spoke those words to herself while thinking about Angel. “You’re getting there, my belov
Anger was fueling around the chest of Mira when she heard the pleading of the nomad she despite the most of his kind. It gave her an irk vibe that she couldn’t tolerate any longer, especially, when harm came into her subjects. “AND WHAT?! INFLICT FEAR TO MY KIDS HERE?! NO! I WON’T TOLERATE ANYMORE EVERY CRIME THAT YOU COMMIT!” Mira shouted with haywire rage and care at the same time for her kin. “Crime?” Vesmon mumbled and looked worried at her. “YOU VIOLATE THE COUNCIL’S CODE FOR NOMADS AND THEY GAVE ME AUTHORITY TO GIVE JUDGMENT FOR THOSE NOMADS WHO WENT AMOK - WHETHER INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF MY LAND.” With venom in her words, Mira pointed out what Vesmon just violated without him knowing it. “NO! YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS!”
Hearing the pain from Angel’s voice, Mira became determined to search for her beloved while she was in the memory lane of her beloved. She looked around as the bugging pain from Angel’s past started crawling underneath her very skin. Feeling the itch, Mira clicked her tongue in annoyance before letting her nails sharpen and digging her arm with it. She scratched her arm till it bleeds. “Nobody is taking Angel away from me!” Mira marked her words when Angel’s wolf finally was able to reach Mira’s hearing. ‘Reach him.’ “Alarick...” Mira muttered when she heard Angel’s wolf’s voice before her sight changed and the darkness of the memory lane opened up into another space. The space contained a neutral grey palette from light to darker shades. It had a mi
A smile creeps up on the corner of Angel’s lips as he hears Mira’s message. Looking at the ceiling as his thought drift deeply when his wolf speaks to him with gladness. ‘Release it to her. She’ll try to cope with it. That’s how she loves us - you.’ Without further adieu, Angel agreed with his wolf and went on being honest with her. He wanted Mira to know everything about him even though he knew that it won’t be easy as slicing a cake. But appreciation was the first step he was willing to take for Mira’s love and affection. “Thank you Mira from sharing this kind of love you are feeling for me. I appreciate what it was making me feel ever since I’m crushing over you.” Angel thanked Mira wholeheartedly for showering him with love that he thought he don’t deserve any more.
Being a little bit quiet, Mira watched as Angel took charge of the situation. She trusted her mate to handle things, knowing that in urgent and disruptive situations, her own abilities as a vampire might not lead to the best decisions. Mira's full pledge vampire side was feared by many of her men, as it could easily result in someone being killed without any real effort on her part. So, for the sake of everyone's safety, Mira was happy to let Angel take the lead. “Ask help if you can’t handle it alone. Angel and I will make sure everyone will be safe. Do you report on us.” Mira added before they could leave their bedroom as she just let her beloved mate make the decision for their land and everyone’s safety. “Yes, Mistress.” they responded in unison. “Go now. Meet us in our office. Andriel, call Lu
