Chapter 30: Dungeon

I wouldn't say I liked it, but I had to accept being sent to the dungeon in a state that couldn't be worse. I had to keep my clothes covered in blood and my body covered with wounds for a week.

“Can't help but praise you; you are talented. You're the first person I've seen who can make Diana so out of control." My captor propped her hips and laughed as if she were very pleased with it. She gave me a thumbs up. "Good job! I have a different view of you.”

I forced a smile at her.

She looked outside. "Please bear with it; the light here is broken; I will have someone fix it soon." She turned her head, her eyes slightly apologetic. “How embarrassing!”

I shook my head. "I'm okay."

She tilted her head, smiled at me, and then went out, locking the door. "I'm right outside; if you need anything, just call me, and I'll be right there."

I didn't have the strength to open my mouth anymore; I just nodded.
