Chapter 82: Indescribable joy

Ryan POV:

I don't know how long I slept, nor what happened outside when I was in a coma. I know I've been lost in a particular world for so long that I feel uncomfortable and frantically try to escape. But all my efforts are in vain; I can't get out; I hear Erza's voice in my ear, she says she wants to go somewhere, but I can't stop it because my body is rotten. Every fiber of my body softened and fell, leaving only my skeleton and faint blood trails.

For the first time in my life, I felt helpless, but I didn't want to give up; I knew somewhere someone was waiting for me to come back.

I opened my eyes dimly, this body so weak that I didn't think it belonged to me. I looked up at the ceiling for a moment before catching my breath, I tried to lift my left hand, but something was pressing on my arm.

My wolf, Andrew, began to purr happily. 'I thought we'd be dead this time, but now we can wake up again. This time we have to thank our mate.’
