Sitting across my monitor screen in my dim office, I closed the book's last page. I scanned my eyes through the notes I had taken.

For the past two months, I have been reading every book I could find about premature transformation.

Now I was finally done reading everything I could about the transformation. The book hadn’t said anything about the last transformation stage. The only thing written about it was to get rid of anyone in the previous stage, but there was no way I was killing Ted.
