"We're under attack," Victor shouts. "Harry's here. He's come. The bunker's been breached."

Ariadne's heart drops into her stomach. Her hand curls around her stomach protectively.

"Promise me you'll come back," Ariadne cries.

Victor looks at her hard. "No matter what, I'll-" he pauses. "If I have to kill him, I will."
