"Do you like it?" Alex asked while staring at his mate.

Ashly just blinks and doesn't say anything.

"I am sorry if I disappoint you."

Ashly blinks again and looks towards her ex-mate.

"It's not like I did this to someone else. Expect you."

"What do you mean?"

"I've never had another Alpha knot me before I met you or after you left me," Ashly whispered, more to herself than to her ex-mate. There was a hint of awe in her tone.
